Shipping policy
Shipping Policy - 3DLab
This Shipping Policy governs the preparation, fulfillment and delivery of orders placed through the shop3dlab.it website.
3DLab manufactures and sells aftermarket motorcycle accessories and components, including items configured, customized or produced at the customer's request.
By placing an order on the website, the customer declares that they have read and understood this Shipping Policy, together with the Terms and Conditions, the Return, Withdrawal, Refund and Warranty Policy and the other policies published on the website.
1. Scope of application
This policy applies to orders placed through shop3dlab.it and covers:
- order preparation, production and configuration times;
- shipping methods;
- estimated delivery times;
- shipping costs;
- management of delays, failed delivery, storage and transport issues.
2. Preparation, production and configuration times
3DLab products may be standard products, products configured through the online configurator, customized products or products made at the customer's request.
Unless otherwise indicated on the product page, in the configurator or at checkout, the indicative preparation, production or configuration times are:
- Standard products: 1-3 business days.
- Products configured through the online configurator: 1-3 business days.
- Customized products or products made on request: 1-3 business days.
- Products with specific times indicated on the product page: the times indicated on the relevant product page apply, for example 7-15 business days.
Preparation times start from order confirmation, receipt of payment and receipt of all information necessary for the correct manufacture of the product.
Any delays in sending data, measurements, images, logos, confirmations or specifications by the customer may result in a postponement of production and shipping times.
3. Start of production
Production, configuration or preparation of the order starts only after:
- order confirmation;
- receipt of payment, where required;
- receipt of any data, photos, measurements, images, logos, confirmations or specifications necessary to manufacture the product.
For configured, customized or made-to-measure products, once production or configuration has started, cancellation of the order may no longer be possible, unless otherwise agreed with 3DLab or in cases provided for by law.
4. Delivery times after handover to the courier
Delivery times start from the moment the order is handed over to the courier. These times are in addition to the preparation, production or configuration times of the product.
Unless otherwise indicated at checkout, the estimated delivery times are:
- Italy: 1-3 business days.
- France: 3-5 business days.
- European Union: generally 5-8 business days, except for countries with specific times indicated at checkout.
- United Kingdom and non-EU countries: times may vary depending on the courier, customs and destination.
The times indicated are estimates based on normally available services and may vary for reasons not directly controllable by 3DLab, such as courier delays, logistics issues, holidays, strikes, customs checks, errors in shipping details or periods of high demand.
5. Overall order times
The overall time required to receive an order is the sum of:
- the preparation, production or configuration time of the product;
- the courier delivery time.
Example: if a product has a preparation time of 1-3 business days and shipping in Italy requires 1-3 business days, the total estimated time will be approximately 2-6 business days.
Example: if a product has a specific time indicated on the product page of 7-15 business days and shipping in Italy requires 1-3 business days, the total estimated time will be approximately 8-18 business days.
If an order contains multiple products with different preparation times, the order may be shipped when all products are ready, unless otherwise agreed with 3DLab.
6. Shipping costs
Shipping costs are clearly shown at checkout before order confirmation and payment.
For Italy, unless changes or promotions are indicated at checkout:
- orders from EUR 0.00 to EUR 49.99: standard shipping at EUR 6.00;
- orders from EUR 50.00 and above: free standard shipping.
For other countries, the shipping cost varies depending on the destination, order amount and rates available at the time of purchase. The exact cost is always shown at checkout before payment.
Any promotions relating to free shipping, such as free shipping above a specific order threshold, apply only under the conditions indicated on the website or at checkout.
7. Shipping methods
Shipments are carried out through couriers or logistics operators selected by 3DLab based on the destination, order type, service availability and shipment characteristics.
3DLab reserves the right to choose, change or replace the appointed courier, provided that this does not result in a substantial reduction of the service purchased by the customer.
When available, the customer will receive a tracking code by email or through the tools made available by the website, the courier or the sales platform.
8. Shipping address and customer responsibility
The customer is required to carefully check the accuracy of the shipping details entered at the time of the order.
In particular, the customer is responsible for the accuracy of:
- recipient's first and last name;
- full address;
- street number;
- postal code;
- city and province;
- destination country;
- email and telephone contact details, if required for delivery;
- any information useful to the courier.
3DLab is not responsible for delays, storage, failed deliveries, returns to sender or additional costs resulting from incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate data provided by the customer.
Any costs for reshipping, additional handling, storage or return caused by customer errors or omissions may be charged to the customer, within the limits permitted by law.
9. Transfer of risk
For consumer customers, the risk of loss of or damage to the products passes to the customer when the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, physically takes possession of the goods.
If the consumer customer independently chooses a carrier other than those proposed by 3DLab, the risk passes to the customer when the product is handed over to the carrier chosen by the customer, without prejudice to the customer's rights against the carrier.
For professional or business customers, the transfer of risk may take place in accordance with applicable law and any agreements between the parties.
10. Checks upon delivery
Upon delivery, the customer is invited to check:
- the integrity of the packaging;
- the absence of visible damage;
- that the order placed matches the products received;
- the possible presence of signs of tampering or alteration of the package.
In the event of a damaged, tampered with or visibly altered package, the customer is invited, where possible, to accept the package with a specific reservation for inspection or to refuse delivery if the damage is evident.
The customer is also invited to promptly report the issue to 3DLab at info@shop3dlab.it, attaching clear photos of the packaging, shipping label and contents received.
Failure to make a reservation at the time of delivery may make it more difficult to handle a claim against the courier, but does not limit the mandatory rights granted to the consumer by current law.
11. Failed delivery, recipient absence and storage
If the recipient is absent, the courier may make one or more delivery attempts according to its own procedures.
If delivery is unsuccessful for reasons attributable to the customer, including by way of example an incorrect address, recipient absence, failure to collect from a storage point, unjustified refusal of the goods or inability to contact the recipient, 3DLab may charge the customer any storage, return-to-sender or reshipping costs, within the limits permitted by law.
If the package is returned to 3DLab for reasons attributable to the customer, 3DLab will contact the customer to agree on a new shipment or another solution applicable to the specific case.
12. International shipments, customs and additional charges
For orders destined outside Italy or the European Union, any customs duties, import taxes, local VAT, customs clearance charges, carrier administrative fees or other costs requested by the authorities of the destination country are borne by the customer, unless expressly indicated otherwise at checkout.
The customer is responsible for checking the possibility of legally importing and using the purchased products in the destination country.
3DLab is not responsible for delays, customs holds, seizures, additional costs, failed delivery or inability to import due to local regulations, customs checks, restrictions in the destination country or customer omissions, without prejudice to the mandatory rights provided for by applicable law.
13. Delays and force majeure events
3DLab is not responsible for delays or temporary impossibility of shipment and delivery due to force majeure events or events otherwise outside its reasonable control.
Such events include, by way of example:
- natural disasters;
- fires;
- wars or exceptional events;
- strikes;
- transport interruptions;
- sudden unavailability of materials or components;
- power outages;
- significant technical failures;
- measures by authorities;
- health emergencies;
- courier delays or blocks.
In such cases, 3DLab will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible and production, shipping or delivery times may be suspended or extended, without prejudice to the mandatory rights granted to the consumer by law.
14. Undelivered or lost orders
If an order appears to be undelivered, blocked or potentially lost, the customer may contact 3DLab at info@shop3dlab.it, indicating the order number and the issue encountered.
3DLab will carry out the reasonably necessary checks with the courier or appointed logistics operator.
For consumer customers, in the event of loss of or damage to the goods before physical delivery to the customer, the rights provided for by current law apply.
For professional customers or in cases where the customer has independently chosen a carrier other than those proposed by 3DLab, liability will be assessed in accordance with applicable law and any agreements between the parties.
15. Limitation of liability
Within the limits permitted by law, 3DLab is not liable for delays, additional costs, indirect damage, loss of profit or inconvenience resulting from circumstances not directly attributable to 3DLab, such as courier delays, errors in the data provided by the customer, failure to collect, storage, customs holds or force majeure events.
No provision of this policy limits or excludes the mandatory rights granted to the consumer by applicable law.
16. Contacts for shipping assistance
For reports relating to shipments, deliveries, delays, damaged packages, storage or orders not received, the customer may contact 3DLab via:
- Email: info@shop3dlab.it
- Contact form available on the Contact page
- WhatsApp: +39 379 387 4029
To allow the request to be handled more quickly, the customer is invited to provide:

- recipient name;
- description of the issue;
- any photos of the package, label and contents;
- any communications received from the courier.
Incomplete requests or requests without the necessary information may require longer handling times.
17. Policy updates
3DLab reserves the right to modify or update this Shipping Policy at any time.
The updated version will be effective from the date of publication on the website and will apply to orders placed subsequently, unless otherwise provided by law.
